Neil Finn will release a seven-track iTunes Sessions on Friday featuring songs from his recent album ‘Dizzy Heights’ as well as a couple of classics.
Neil Finn ‘iTunes Sessions’ was recorded in Auckland in 2014.
“It was a pure joy to record my first iTunes Sessions and completely live with my band after all last years’ touring and knowing intimately, all the cracks and grooves of the songs but still discovering delicate new spaces to inhabit. This music is seriously good”.
For the sessions Finn has re-recorded his Crowded House classic ‘Something So Strong’ as ‘Something So Strong – Naïve’ in its original form.
Finn recorded ‘iTunes Sessions’ between his own Roundhead studio in Auckland and Dave Fridmann’s Tarbox Studio in New York. Fridmann produced the tracks.
