Neil Young and Crazy Horse have announced a fall tour of North America in support of their new album, Americana.
Young and the group will be performing music from the album, which puts their twist on a series of great American songs, some as much as two years old, along with other songs from throughout Young’s career. The tour opens October 3 in Windsor, ON and runs through December 4 in Bridgeport, CT.
Opening will be either Patti Smith or Los Lobos. See below for who will be playing each date.
Americana is out today (June 5) and those who purchase tickets on-line will receive a copy of the album. Tickets for the tour go on sale on Saturday (June 8) for shows in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Boston, Philadelphia, Fairfax, VA and Bridgeport, CT. Check with ticket sellers for on-sale dates for other cities.
