Neil Young, whose Malibu residence was destroyed, has lashed out at American president Donald Trump for his ill-timed comments assigning fault to the environmentalists. “Imagine a leader who defies science, saying these solutions shouldn’t be part of his decision-making on our behalf. Imagine a leader who cares more for his own, convenient opinion than he does for the people he leads. Imagine an unfit leader. Now imagine a fit one,” an angry Young posted at his website.
Young bought the 17.6 acre Malibu property off his now wife Daryl Hannah in 2016.
Robin Thicke and Gerard Butler have also confirmed losing their houses in the disaster.
