Neil Young has paid tribute to his ex-wife Pegi who passed away last week from cancer.
Neil posted his lyrics to ‘Such A Woman’, a song about Pegi from his 1992 ‘Harvest Moon’ album. The post concluded with Neil writing “Thanks Pegi, for being such a wonderful mother to our children. You live inside of them and the many you have touched”.
The lyrics of the song go “You are such a woman to me, And I love you, Our live will live, Until the end of time”.
Pegi Young died on New Years Day, 2019. She was 66. Pegi was the founder of the Bridge School in California, a school for children with severe physical and speech impairments.
Neil and Pegi Young were the organisers of the Bridge School Concert which ran every year from 1986 to 2016.
