Neil Young Waging Heavy Peace

For the first time Young is telling the story of his life from childhood in Ontario and his journalist father’s influence on his love of the written word.

The book takes you through the stories of his first band The Squires, his first car (a hearse) and packing up and leaving Canada for California in 1966 where he co-founded Buffalo Springfield with Stephen Stills.

These days Young lives on a secluded farm outside San Francisco with wife Pegi

‘Waging Heavy Peace’ is out through Penguin.

Meanwhile, Neil Young and Crazy Horse released the video for ‘Walk Like A Giant’ today. It is the first release from the upcoming ‘Psychedelic Pill’ album.
