Neil Young Releases Second New Song ‘Rainbow of Colors’

Neil Young has dropped the second song from his upcoming Crazy Horse album ‘Colorado’. ‘Rainbow of Colors’ is a song he was also road-testing on his most recent tour.

Neil performed ‘Rainbow of Colors’ at his shows on 17 and 18 May,

The first taste of the ‘Colorado’ album was the track ‘Milky Way’. This song has also been previewed at shows on 14, 15, 17 an 18.

‘Colorado’ is the first Neil Young and Crazy Horse album since 2012’s ‘Psychedelic Pill’. Since then Neil has released three solo albums ‘A Letter Home’ (2014), ‘Storytone’ (2014) and ‘Peace Trail’ (2016), two Promise of the Real albums ‘The Monsanto Years’ (2015) and ‘The Visitor’ (2017), one live album ‘Earth’ (with Promise of the Real), the ‘Paradox’ soundtrack (2018), and the Archive series albums ‘Live At The Cellar Door’ (2013), ‘Bluenote Café’ (2015), ‘Hitchhiker’ (2017), ‘Roxy: Tonight’s The Night Live’ (2018), ‘Songs For Judy’ (2018) and ‘Tuscaloosa’ (2019).

He also reissues albums 5-12 across two Original Release Series box sets including the very first (and very limited) CD release of ‘Time Fades Away’ (which was quickly snapped up by collectors and now sells for exorbitant amounts of money.

Neil Young ‘Colorado’ will be released in October.
