When Two and a Half Men returns for its 11th season later this month the new star of the show will be Amber Tamblyn, Neil Young’s Goddaughter.
Amber is the daughter of Russ Tamblyn, an American actor who appeared in Neil’s 1982 movie ‘Human Highway’. The movie also starred Dean Stockwell and Dennis Hopper who are also her Godfathers.
Amber says, “people like Neil Young and Dennis Hopper, those are just really close knit family friends”.
Her uncle is Larry Tamblyn from L.A. garage rock band The Standells who had a Top 10 U.S. hit in 1966 with ‘Dirty Water’.
Amber will join the new season of Two and a Half Men as Charlie’s long-lost illegitimate 25-year old daughter. She turns up at Charlie’s old house, now owned by Walden and it turns out she is exactly like her dad, including his insatiable appetite for women.
Amber’s first movie was the horror flick ‘The Ring’ in 2002. She also starred in ‘The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants’ and ‘Django Unchained’.
The 11th season of Two and a Half Men will debut on CBS in the USA on September 26.
