Nelly Furtado readies her first English-language album in six years, drops a single, and has tweeted a sneak peek of a cover art photo shoot.
Furtado has been quiet on the English-language front since her hit ‘Maneater’ from 2006’s Loose, although her 2009 Latin-pop album Mi Plan went double platinum in Chile and topped the US Billboard Latin Pop charts.
Now she’s back with her next album The Spirit Indestructible, which features production from The Neptunes, Tiësto, Timbaland, Ryan Tedder and Rodney Jerkins
The first single from the album ‘Big Hoops (The Bigger The Better)’ hit US radio yesterday and she just tweeted a photo from a shoot for the cover art of the album. You can try to work out what’s going on here.
And in the meantime, check out the lyric video for ‘Big Hoops’. The Spirit Indestructible will be released on June 19.
