Madonna has downed tools on her next album and first album in five years. The yet-to-be titled album is the first of three albums Madonna will release on Interscope Records, via Universal after leaving Warner Music.
The first single ‘Gimme All Your Luvin’ will be released in the last week of January in time for Madonna’s appearance at the Super Bowl on February 5.
Madonna left Warner Music after her last album ‘Hard Candy’ and signed a 360 deal with Live Nation. Live Nation then brokered the record deal with Interscope. Live Nation will handle Madonna’s touring commitments and merch deals.
As well as the new album in the New Year, Madonna will also release her movie ‘W.E.’. She directed and co-wrote the film. It is out of February 3.
‘W.E’ has been nominated for two Golden Globe Awards. The Madonna movie is up for Best Original Score by Abel Korzeniowski and Best Original Song for ‘Masterpiece’ by Madonna.
