Newtons Nation launches an unsigned artist competition where winners get to perform at the extreme sport and music fest alongside newly-added Ajax.

Newtons Nation has just added mash-up mixtape champ Ajax to perform with The Getaway Plan, Seth Sentry, Heroes For Hire and more at the Mount Panaroma festival which showcases extreme action sports like downhill skateboarding, mountain biking, street luge, BMX and scooter competitions, parkour and more.
They’ve also announced a competition for unsigned artists to join the festival, in conjunction with bandit.fm and Sony Music.
The winner will score a slot at the festival, a year-long digital distro deal with bandit.fm, and five days of studio time courtesy of Sony.
Budding musicians are asked to upload one track to the Newtons Nation site, and the top five highest-voted tunes will enter the finals. Then Sony’s A&R crew (with electro help from One Love DJs) will pick the artist to score the big prize.
