Nickelback will return to Australia in May for their first shows since 2012.

After announcing a 61-day North American tour last week Nickelback have added the Australian dates into their world tour.

“We can’t wait to tour Australia. Aside from being one of the most beautiful places on Earth and having such a vibrant, storied and rich musical heritage; simply put, it’s the people that make it so special for us. Australians have an insatiable musical appetite and are among the best fans in the world. I’ve played some of my favorite shows there and always look forward to making it back,” the band’s Mike Kroeger said in a statement.

Nickelback will tour Australia for Live Nation.

Nickelback dates

May 15, Melbourne, Rod Laver Arena
May 18, Adelaide, Entertainment Centre
May 20, Brisbane, Entertainment Centre
May 22, Sydney, Allphones Arena
May 26, Perth, Perth Arena

Tickets go on sale 10am Friday November 21

After 29 Years Sex Pistols Return To Melbourne’s Festival Hall #Review

The one criticism I must say about Sex Pistols 2025 is that unlike 1977, we now have musicians who can play and a singer who can sing. You’ve also got to love that three guys fast approaching 70 have made their career for the past half a century out of a lyric that goes “No future for you, no future me”. As that wise old philosopher Alanis Morissette once said, “isn’t it ironic, don’t you think?”.
