Nicki Minaj took to Times Square this week to perform a medley of her hits and create one of the biggest LED displays ever.

An entire building was lit up while Nicki Minaj performed for the cameras while 60ft waves appeared to cascade down the building. Nine other screens captured the reaction from the audience.
“To see the idea on paper was amazing but to see it for real blew me away. It brought Times Square to a standstill,” Nicki said in a statement. The absolute bonus for me is that my fans, who have been so loyal to me, are now part of the video for the Starships Nokia remix.
“Performing in my home town of NYC the same week as the release of my new album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded is amazing and it really is a dream come true.”
The footage will be used for her next video for ‘Starships’. The event was also used by Nokia to launch the new Lumia 900 handset.
