When superstar violinist Nigel Kennedy returns to Australia in 2019 he will perform a program of Sebastian Bach and George Gershwin, as well as his own composition ‘The Magician of Lublin’ for the tour.
At his recent British shows Nigel performed Bach’s ‘Fugue from Sonata No 1’ and a selection of Gershwin including Summertime, How Long Has This Been Going On, Rhapsody In Claret and Blue and Lady Be Good.
Kennedy’s own composition ‘The Magician of Lublin’ was inspired by the book by Isaac Singer and is a tribute to the Jewish community.
