The Meredith Music Festival will feature Chic featuring Nile Rodgers and The Melvins.
Chic creator Nile Rodgers is behind the success of the recent Daft Punk album ‘Random Access Memories’. He was involved with the hit ‘Get Lucky’ and the opening track ‘Give Life Back To Music’ on the album.
Chic hits include ‘Le Freak’, ‘Dance Dance Dance’ and ‘Good Times’.
Rodges also produced hits for INXS ‘The Original Sin’, ‘Diana Ross, Upside Down’, David Bowie ‘Let’s Dance’ and Duran Duran ‘The Reflex’.
The Melvins formed in Washington in 1984 and were a major influence on Nirvana, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam.
The Meredith Music Festival is on December 13, 14 and 15 at Meredith, Victoria.
