Fashion designer John Paul Gaultier has recruited dance maestro Nile Rodgers to create original music for his fashion show in Paris in October.
Rodgers is planning on writing new music for the show and then mix the new with the old to deliver a modern soundtrack for the big event.

Gaultier once dabbled in the world of pop. In 1988 he released ‘How To Do That’.
Jean Paul Gaultier has designed outfits for Kylie Minogue’s KylieX2008 tour, Beyonce’s ‘Run The World (Girls)’ video and Rihanna Grammy 2011 dress. Most recently he designed the dress Katy Perry wore to the 2017 Vanity Fair after-party.
Nile Rodgers credentials date back to the 70s with his band Chic and alt-band Sister Sledge. He was then involved throughout the 80s and 90s as the architecture of sound for artists such as David Bowie, Madonna, Duran Duran, Diana Ross, Daft Punk and INXS.
The Jean Paul Gaultier event debuting the new music for Nile Rodgers will be held on October 2 in Paris.
