Nile Rodgers has never missed a concert in his life until Sunday (August 13) night.
Rodgers, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year, is currently on tour with Earth, Wind and Fire but, on Sunday, he was taken to a Toronto area hospital, missing his appearance at the Air Canada Centre.
Rodgers’ ailment is not known. He only said that the doctors were “taking great care” of him.
Thank you all so much. I love @EarthWindFire @CHICorg all the #fans and my doctors who are taking great care of me. See you all very soon https://t.co/6dl5EFXbza
