Nile Rodgers and Chic are on the verge of a major comeback with their new album, It’s About Time, set for a June release and the first show of 2015 on Friday night at the Roundhouse in London.
The show was as much a review of Rodgers career as it was a Chic concert with covers of the myriad of songs that he has produced over the years for artists like Diana Ross, Sister Sledge, Duran Duran, Madonna and David Bowie. Of the 24 songs, eleven were originals by Chic, including one from their upcoming album, while thirteen were covers.
