In 2013, Nile Rodgers spoke at the International Music Summit (IMS) in Ibizia, an event that saw him write a new anthem for the organization.
The song was auctioned off to benefit non-profit organization We Are Family.
The song has now been purchased by Cr2 Records, and electronic music company based in Wegmans, who will release it as a single next month. A number of remixes of the track are already available.
Rodgers has had a career resurgence in the last year highlighted by his collaboration with Daft Punk on the Grammy winning Get Lucky.
