Nile Rodgers has a new Chic song titled ‘Sober’ and it features Craig David.

‘Sober’ will feature on the Chic album ‘It’s About Time’. The song also features British rapper Stefflon Don on one verse.

Craig David is best known for his hits ‘Fill Me In’, ‘7 Days’, Walking Away’, ‘Rendevous’, ‘Whats Your Flava’, ‘Hidden Agenda’, ‘Rise & Fall’ and ‘All The Way’.

The ‘It’s About Time’ album was recorded over years between 2014 and 2018. It is the first Chic album since ‘Chic-ism’ in 1992.

The first track to surface from ‘It’s About Time’ was ‘I’ll Be There’ in March 2015.

Nile Rodgers formed Chic in 1976 with his partner bass player Bernard Edwards. Chic had a run of songs that epitomised the disco era ‘Dance Dance Dance’, ‘Everybody Dance’, ‘Le Freak’ and ‘Good Times’.

As a producer Nile Rodgers has worked with Duran Duran, INXS, Madonna, David Bowie, Bryan Ferry, lady Gaga, Daft Punk, and Diana Ross.
