Noel Gallagher ‘Can’t Be Arsed’ To Reform Oasis

Noel Gallagher has no intention of reforming Oasis.

It looks like that “well placed source” that told England’s Daily Mail that an Oasis reunion was on the way may not have been all that much on the inside.

Noel Gallagher, one-half of the battling Gallagher brothers, has shot down any chance of a reunion. It probably isn’t a big surprise, at least at this point in time. Noel’s latest album with his High Flying Birds, Chasing Yesterday, is still high on charts around the world two months after its release. On the other hand, his brother Liam’s group, Beady Eye, scored two top three albums but broke up in late 2014.

Noel talked to Alan Carr on England’s Channel 4, telling him that the Oasis reunion is not happening. “I’ve got nothing more to say on it that I haven’t already said. It’s not to happen. No, I can’t be arsed.”

The host went on to suggest that High Flying Birds and Beady Eye combine to form BirdsEye but Gallagher said “As enticing as that sounds,” replied Noel, “I don’t think it’s going to happen. Sorry.”
