The musical, based around Normie’s 60s classics, features Julian Campobasso as Normie Rowe and Normie Rowe as Prime Minister Harold Holt.

Normie The Musical also stars David McLean as Sir Robert Menzies, Emma Newman as Marcie Jones, Gail Bradley as Zara Holt, Jamie Pearce as Captain Blake and David Ferrier as Stan Rofe.

The musical tells the story of Normie Rowe, Australia’s biggest pop star of the 60s, whose career came to a halt when he was called up to serve in Vietnam.

Normie is extremely excited about the show. “To say I am thrilled is an understatement,” Normie said. “It’s a great honour to have your life and career put up on stage like this, and an amazing feeling to re-live all those experiences many of which, when looking back, were quite incredible.”

Normie The Musical will have a limited run from November 23 to December 1 at the Geoffrey McComas Theatre at Scotch College, Hawthorn in Melbourne.
