One Direction’s debut album ‘Up All Night’ has moved to number one of the ARIA chart in Australia but Madonna ‘MDNA’ has gone in the other direction.
‘MDNA’, the number one album last week, is number 9 in its second week. ‘Up All Night’ has been hanging around the Australian chart for the past 19 weeks and has rise on the back of the Australian tour which kicks off this Friday in Sydney.
The ARIA chart was kind to Lionel Richie whose country album ‘Tuskegee’ rose from 36 to no. 2.
Debuts included Nicki Minaj ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ at 5, The Used ‘Vulnerable’ at 18 and Sia ‘Best Of’ at 30.
