One Direction’s new album will be called ‘Take Me Home’.
Boy band member Louis Tomlinson unveiled the title of their second studio album on twitter yesterday (29.08.12).
The 20-year-old heartthrob tweeted: “So pleased to tell you that our new album is called ‘take me home’. Can’t wait for you to hear it! More news soooon! #takemehome (sic).”
The ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ hitmakers unveiled the title of the first single from the album ‘Live While We’re Young’ last week, and the track has gone on to become the fastest-selling pre-order single ever ahead of its September 30 release.
Niall Horan told of the band’s excitement about the single, tweeting: “Now you’ve heard the name of the first single! Cannot wait for you to hear the song itself now!”
Louis, Niall and band mates Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Zayn Malik shot to fame on the UK’s ‘The X Factor’ in 2010 and their debut album ‘Up All Night’ saw them become an international phenomenon after it charted at Number one in 17 countries.
The boys are currently enjoying some time off ahead of their comeback, when they will perform for the first time ever at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) on September 6. The group are nominated for Best Pop Video and Best New Artist at the awards.
