One Electric Day Heads For Sell-Out After First Day On Sale

Duane McDonald’s One Electric Day has sold over 7000 tickets after tickets went on sale this morning.

One Electric Day 2016 features Jimmy Barnes, Icehouse, James Reyne, Russell Morris and The Badloves. The event on the Great Lawn at Melbourne’s Werribee Park Mansion is now in its fourth year.

“Aussie Rock will never die,” an ecstatic Duane McDonald tells Noise11.com.

Duane started One Electric Day four years ago to give a great value all-day family event featuring the cream of Australian rock to Aussie music fans.

The first season in 2013 featured Jimmy Barnes, The Angels, James Reyne, The Black Sorrows and Ross Wilson. 2014 had Hoodoo Gurus, Mondo Rock, James Reyne, Daryl Braithwaite and Boom Crash Opera. 2015’s One Electric Day was headlined by John Farnham with Noiseworks, Daryl Braithwaite, The Black Sorrows and Pseudo Echo.
