Tickets for the second annual One Electric Day will go on sale today (July 7) at 11am.
One Electric Day was the surprise outdoor family rock event of 2013 and is back this year with a line-up of classic Oz rock from Hoodoo Gurus, Mondo Rock, Diesel, Daryl Braithwaite, Boom Crash Opera and James Reyne playing a set of Australian Crawl.
Tickets were snapped up fast for the 2013 event at Werribee Park outside Melbourne. “Last year’s show sold out a couple of months in advance,” says organiser Duane McDonald. “It was a fantastic family event and we had great reviews from patrons and media alike. We have a commitment to continue to give music fans outside of the city a chance to see the calibre of concerts and festivals that patrons attending shows in metro centres have. ONE ELECTRIC DAY is an event that we will continue to grow every year and we’re excited about the fantastic line-up of legendary Australian artists on this year’s bill. I am excited to bring this event to Werribee for a second year, it is a fantastic venue with the magnificent backdrop of the iconic Werribee Mansion.”
One Electric Day is an all-day family event. Gates open at 11am. Tickets are $89.90 + booking fee and children under 12 are free with a paying adult.
Bookings are via ticketmaster.com.au or phone 136 100 after 11am today.
