Dempsey was the drummer for The Living End from 1996 to 2002. At the height of The Living End’s success he gave up his position in the band to become a youth worker.

Travis quietly joined Doubleblack in late 2012 and contributed to the songwriting for the new music including the song ‘Renegade’ out on iTunes next week.

Doubleblack is now Matt Black, formerly of The Fireballs, on guitar and lead vocals, Jason Skewes on double bass and Travis Dempsey and drums.
