Steve Cash of the Ozark Mountain Daredevils has passed away at the age of 73.

Ozark Mountain Daredevils were best known for the 1975 hit ‘Jackie Blue’, co-written by Cash.

Steve Cash was a co-founder of Ozark Mountain Daredevils. He was with the band for over 40 years.

After the band broke-up, Steve Cash became an author. The wrote the science fiction trilogy ‘The Meg’, ‘Time Dancers’ and ‘The Remembering’. He also wrote the band’s biography ‘It Shines’.
