Patti Smith has performed the title track to her new album Banga and released a video online about its inception.

Rock N Roll Hall Of Famer and living legend Patti Smith has followed up the release of her new album and book Banga with a live performance on The Late Show With David Letterman.
There’s also a video of Smith talking about the project, which is currently streaming at director and photographer Steven Sebring’s site. She discusses the photos in the book, and explains the title and the mythologising behind the songs (including being inspired by The Hunger Games and writing a birthday song for Johnny Depp).
