Paul McCartney Australian Tour Dates Revealed

by Paul Cashmere on June 21, 2017

in News

Paul McCartney will tour Australia and New Zealand in December.

Dates have been confirmed for the first Australian tour for Sir Paul since 1993 and only his fourth time visiting Australia.

Paul McCartney first toured Australia with the Beatles in 1964. He came next with Wings in 1975 and then in 1993. A 2002 tour was cancelled followed by a PR disaster blaming it on the Bali bombing. His publicist was fired over the debacle.

This time around it is on for real and with wiggle room for additional dates to be added.

“We’ve been waiting to get back to Australia and New Zealand for years and now it’s finally happening. It is very exciting. I’m really looking forward to the concerts as we’ve always had such a brilliant time whenever we’ve been before so we know we are in for a treat. Can’t wait to see you and all rock out together,” Sir Paul said in a statement.
