Paul Stanley Puts Shannon Tweed In Line Over Gene Simmons Statement

Paul Stanley of Kiss has responded to a talking down by Gene Simmons’ wife Shannon Tweed after commenting on Gene’s vile comment about Prince.

After Simmons called Prince ‘pathetic’ Simmons Paul Stanley spoke out against his Kiss business partner tweeting “Embarrassed by cold clueless statements re Prince’s death. Without all the facts better to say nothing. My apologies”.

Shannon Tweed went to her husband’s defense posting, “We ALL have our failings but true friends don’t point at them & throw you under the bus! Especially partners of 40 years!”

To which Stanley bit and responded back, “Partners of 40 years says it all. Don’t confuse walking under the bus with being thrown under. My apology was right.”

The Stanley Simmons feud is the first public brouhaha for the Kiss founders.

Simmons made his original comment in an interview when asked about the death of Prince and comparing it to the death of Bowie.
