Paul Stanley’s Son Has A Band Called The Dives

New York The Dives features Evan Stanley, son of Kiss legend Paul, but according to Evan “You won’t hear anything that sounds like KISS at The Dives’ show.”

“We’re a Rock & Roll band,” says Evan so that’s where the Kiss comparison ends. “It’s a rock band playing catchy songs,” he says so maybe that’s where the Kiss comparison ends. Okay so its a band with “Big hooks, but rattier than Top 40,” so that’s really where the comparison ends.

Stanley formed The Dives with guitarist and lead singer Mike Lefton, bassist and singer Sergio Ortega and drummer and singer Jimmy Meier.

The Dives play original material. For 2017 there is the ‘Everybody’s Talkin’ EP, a UK tour followed by a US tour in August.

Evan joined his dad on stage in LA in 2016 to perform the Kiss classic ‘Detroit Rock City’. This finally is where our Kiss comparison ends.
