We can confirm that British journalist, television presenter and model Peaches Geldof has been found dead at her home.
Peaches was the second daughter of Sir Bob Geldof and Paula Yates and the granddaughter of Hughie Green.
South East Coast Ambulance Service confirmed the death at the scene. Police say they were called to do a welfare check on a woman at an address near Wrotham, Kent on Monday afternoon. No reason has been given as yet for the sudden death at only 25 years of age.
The death remains unexplained. “At this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained and sudden,” reads a statement from Kent Police.
The news comes only 13 years after her mother Paula Yates died of an overdose
in September 2000.
She was the mother of two small children she had with with Thomas Cohen, Astala, one, and Phaedra, yet to turn one.
The couple married in September 2012.
A spokesperson for the family has yet to comment.
Born in 1989, Peaches began her career writing for Elle magazine at age 15.
The following year, she began contributing to the Guardian and Telegraph newspapers.
She also presented television shows including OMG! with Peaches Geldof on ITV2, and worked as a model.
Her mother, Paula, died in 2000 after suffering a fatal drug overdose. Peaches was just 11 at the time.
In addition to her husband, sons and father, she would also leave behind sisters Fifi Trixibelle and Pixie, as well as half-sister, Tiger Lily Hutchence Geldof.
Her last tweet was a picture of her as a baby in her mothers arms.
