Pearl Jam played their first North American show of the year in London, Ontario, Canada on Tuesday night.
The concert reactivated Pearl Jam ahead of the release of their 10th studio album ‘Lightning Bolt’, due October but they only have two scheduled dates at the moment before the world tour starts in October.
The Ontario show is Pearl Jam’s only summer Canadian date. Pearl Jam took the opportunity to slip a little humour into the set performing a bit of the Clash classic ‘London Calling’ after ‘Corduroy’. Fans at the show were also treated to the live premiere of their new song ‘Mind Your Manners’ off the soon to be released ‘Lightning Bolt’.
Pearl Jam will perform their next show on Friday at Wrigley Field in Chicago and then regroup for the world tour starting October 11 in Pittsburgh.
