Aussie electro duo Peking Duk have partnered with the Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation to celebrate the first anniversary of their children’s book DJ Duks.
Peking Duk will donate $3 from each copy of their book sold through their website to the organisation.
The money will support the ALNF’s goal of raising national language, literacy and numeracy standards by supporting education programs across the nation. There will be a particular focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and refugee youths.
“We are super excited to be partnering with the Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation and to spread DJ Duks’ meaningful message to youth,” the band said in a press release. “We really believe in ALNF’s mission to instil a love of learning in young Australians and are proud to contribute and give back to the community.”
The book is available on its own, or in two packages. The Fuego bundle includes the book and the Peking Duk rubber duck set. You also have the option to get the Banger bundle, which includes a personally signed book, the same rubber duck set, headphones, a keyring and stickers in a limited edition box.
