Pete and Reg’s Dog Trumpet Has A Song On Super Troopers 2 Soundtrack

Dog Trumpet’s ‘Penal Colony’ has been included in the movie ‘Super Troopers 2’.

The movie is the sequel to the 2001 comedy by Jay Chandrasekhar about five state troopers in Vermont.

The sequel premise revolves around a disputed area between the USA and Canada that throws jurisdiction of the area into chaos between the two countries.

‘Penal Colony’ is a Pete song from Dog Trumpet’s 2013 album ‘Medicated Spirits’.

Reg Mombassa and Pete O’Doherty formed Dog Trumpet following their departure from Mental As Anything in 1990. As Dog Trumpet they have released six albums (although ‘Medicated Spirits’ is a double album.
