Peter Garrett kicked off his first solo tour in Perth last weekend this week took the show to Brisbane.
The Garrett setlist has the obvious songs from the new album, a few old Oils songs and some surprises.
Garrett is performing every song from his solo record ‘A Version of You’ to showcase the new release. He also shouted the crowd a couple of Oil’s song ‘Section 5 (Bus To Bondi)’ from the 1979 Head Injuries album and ‘The Dead Heart’ from the ’87 international success Diesel and Dust.
Garrett filled out the set with the Australian classics Skyhook’s ‘Ego Is Not A Dirty Word’ and Divinyls ‘Back To The Wall’ as well as a nod to indigenous singer songwriter Kev Carmody with ‘Thou Shall Not Steal’.
