With Pharrell Williams in the country this week for the Future Music Festival, plus his appearance at The Oscars over the weekend, and not mention his new album GIRL being released at the start of the week, it looks likely that he will holding for a ninth week at No.1 in Australia with his song “Happy”.

Clean Bandit should hold at No.2 with “Rather Be” for a second week, while Sara Bareilles looks set to climb to No.3 with “Brave” (TW-6). David Guetta is set for a Top 5 leap with his new entry from this week “Shot Me Down” (TW-27), whilst Coldplay look on track for a Top 10 debut with their surprise release “Magic”, whilst 5 Second of Summer are on track for a second week within the Top 10 with last weeks highest new entry “She Looks So Perfect” (TW-3).

With Katy Perry in the country on a pre-tour promo tour, it looks like her digital only released track “Dark Horse” (DL.HP-5, Oct 2013) could make an entry this week within the Top 15, whilst the second single for Nathaniel could also land him a Top 20 debut with “You’re Beautiful”. Neon Jungle look set to move up into the twenty with “Braveheart” (TW-24), as too Gabrielle Aplin with her version of F.G.T.H.’s “The Power Love” (TW-34).

The Oscar winner for ‘Best Original Song’ was “Let it Go” from ‘Frozen’, and the Idina Menzel version looks set to climb back up into the upper Top 30, whilst the other nominees seem likely to chart also, with “Ordinary Love” by U2 from ‘Mandela’ potentially entering within the Top 50, and “The Moon Song” by Karen O and Ezra Koenig from ‘Her’ possibly cracking the Top 100 (the fourth and final nominee was ‘Happy’ for Pharrell).

Pitbull could debut within the Top 30 with his new single “Wild Wild Love” (featuring G.R.L.), and after a couple of weeks at No.40, “High” by Peking Duk could jump up into the Top 30. Jason DeRulo snuck in at No.83 with his new track “Stupid Love”, which looks set to jump into the Top 40 this week, as too Dizzee Rascal and Jessie J with “We Don’t Play Around” (TW-99). The Chainsmokers came in at No.98 this week with “#SELFIE” which could jump into the Top 50 this coming weekend, and Christina Perri looks set for a fifty-entry with her new single “Human”.

Paloma Faith could either crack the Top 50, or be just outside it with her new song “Can’t Rely on You” (TW-88), whilst Foxes could debut in the same region with her new track “Let Go for Tonight”. Further entries could come from Fitz & the Tantrums with “The Walker”, John Martin and “Anywhere for You”, Shakira with “Empire”, Thundamentals featuring Thom Crawford and “Something I Said” (all Top 80 or higher). Tracy Chapman could return with her 1988 classic “Fast Car”, whilst Gorgon City feat MNEK could enter with “Ready for Your Love”, the album track by Pharrell Williams and Daft Punk “Gust of Wind” could sneak into the charts, whilst Jessica Mauboy is just outside with her new track “Never Be the Same”.

Albums:
The albums chart could reflect the singles chart this week, as Pharrell looks on track to debut at the top with his new album “G I R L”, pushing INXS out of the top spot after three weeks, with their “Very Best of” dropping down into the Top 5.

Hillsong United could see their new remix project “The White Album” debut within the Top 10, whilst current visitor to our shores Katy Perry should see her album “Prism” (TW-9) climbing higher into the Top 10. Rudimental’s Future Music Festival appearances and newly repackaged version of “Home” (TW-12) should see the album back within the Top 10, whilst Bruno Mars’ current national tour will help his “Unorthodox Jukebox” album back inside the ten also.

Potentially debuting within the Top 20 are albums by Moog with “Kei to the City”, and Rick Ross with “Mastermind”, whilst Top 30 debuts could come from ScHoolboy Q with “Oxymoron” and Kid Cudi with his “Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon” whilst Robbie William’s blast to No.2 last week could see him drop back down to the Top 20, whilst Gabrielle Aplin’s return at No.71 with “English Rain”, could see the album jump up this week into the Top 30 (or even higher).

Macklemore & Ryan are also playing at Future Music Festival, and their long-running album “The Heist” (TW-41) could be back up into the Top 30, whilst last weeks high flying No.5 debut for Beck with “Morning Phase” could drop down to the lower thirty this weekend. Further lower entries could come from Major Lazer with his new EP “Apocalypse Now”, Real Estate with their album “Atlas”, Comeback Kid with “Die Knowing”, and possibly “Borderland” for John Mark McMillan.
