AC/DC’s Phil Rudd was in trouble with the law again today in his hometown of Tauranga after creating a disturbance outside a girl’s school.
The troubled AC/DC drummer was reported by local news source The Bay of Plenty Times to have been “dancing around” after earlier being seen in an argument at a local coffee shop.
The incident with the unnamed man at the coffee shop breached Rudd’s ‘non-association condition’. The 60-year old was handcuffed and taken into custody by police although he was not arrested.
Earlier this week Rudd appeared in court to defend charges of threatening to kill and possession of drugs. He will appear back in court on February 10.
Rudd has not been officially dumped by AC/DC at this time but his legal issues will make it impossible for him to tour.
AC/DC released their Rock or Bust album last week. It will debut this Saturday on the ARIA album chart.
AC/DC are also about to announce a world tour which will see then in Australia in March 2016. Rudd’s court appearance in February most likely means that the band will have to tour with a replacement drummer.
