The ever so Frenchy so chic Phoenix will perform headline shows outside of Future Music Festival for Sydney and Melbourne in March.
Phoenix, together with Daft Punk, are one of France’s hottest exports.
The French quintet are co-headliners for the Future Music Festival around Australia.
Dates for Phoenix are:
March 5, Sydney, Hordern Pavilion
March 6, Melbourne, Festival Hall
Also the music of France will be represented with the So Frenchy So Chic event in Sydney and Melbourne in January.
So Frenchy So Chic 2013 will feature the music of Lou Doillon, the daughter of Jane Birkin and the half-sister of Charlotte Gainsbourg. She was the recent winner of the French Grammy awards for Best Female Artist for the album ‘Places’.
Also performing is the duo Lilly Wood & The Prick, winner of the Best New Act at the French Grammy awards.
Returning to So Frenchy So Chic is Féfé, who played the inaugural 2012 event and Babylon Circus who previously came to Australia for WOMADelaide, 2010.

January 18, Sydney, St John’s College, Camperdown
