Pierce Brosnan says he is literally “gobsmacked” that a painting he created featuring a likeness of Bob Dylan has sold for $1.4 million.
Brosnan’s Dylan was sold during an auction for the 25th annual Cinema Against AIDS. The buyer was a Ukrainian billionaire.
Pierce Brosnan has been painting since 1987. He has 153 originals. He is now planning an exhibition.
Brosnan’s Dylan was painted in 2017.
Pierce Brosnan is currently starring in that silly Abba sequel or prequel or whatever it is ‘Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again’. After the first movie finished without an ending, a second film, also without an ending, was made and is now in cinemas.
Brosnan will return to real acting for his next movie, ‘Final Score’, due 7 September 2018.
