Pink Floyd Placed In Person Of Interest Finale

Pink Floyd made a surprise appearance in the soundtrack of the last scene of the season finale of Person of Interest.

Pink Floyd music is rarely used in TV but there have been some exceptions over the years. An episode of Cold Case in 2010 used various Pink Floyd songs “Comfortably Numb”, “Hey You”, “Mother”, “Marooned”, “Time”, “The Thin Ice” and “Wish You Were Here” throughout of the ‘Flashover’ episode.

‘Another Brick In The Wall’ has been used in a episode of Dr Who in 2014 and ‘Shine On You Crazy Diamond’ was heart in ‘In Reverse’. The Sopranos and Life On Mars have also included the music of Pink Floyd in shows.

In the season finale of ‘Person of Interest’ fights to save his artificial intelligence “Machine’. Season four ends in a cliffhanger but it is uncertain if the show will return for a fifth season. Person of Interest ratings suffered series lows in season 4 with the show registering between a 5% and 21% drop in audience.

At this point Person of Interest has not been renewed for a season 5. The Machine may be killed off my studio executives, not Samaritan.
