Pink Floyd The Endless River Officially Most Pre-Ordered Album Ever

Pink Floyd’s new album, The Endless River, has become the most pre-ordered album of all time on Amazon.co.uk. The Endless River, is their first album since 1994’s The Division Bell.

With only days to go until its release on 10 November 2014, the album has overtaken One Direction’s 2013 hit Midnight Memories as the most preordered album of all time on Amazon.co.uk, also beating Robbie Williams, Take That and Susan Boyle in the all-time pre-order chart.

“Pink Floyd now have the most pre-ordered album on Amazon.co.uk, which is an outstanding achievement for the band and also it proves that they remain one of the most popular groups to grace the UK music scene,” said Director of Amazon EU Digital Music, Steve Bernstein. “After waiting 20 years, our customers have relished being able to listen to new work by Pink Floyd.”
