Pink Floyd’s classic ‘The Wall’ is about to undergo to deluxe treatment with the Immersion box set due later this month.

The expanded edition of ‘The Wall’ is a 7-disc edition featuring a DVD documentary, excerpts of Roger Waters’ original demos and work in progress versions of songs from the final album.

It box features David Gilmour’s original demos of ‘Comfortably Numb’ and ‘Run Like Hell’ and the ‘Is There Anybody Out There – The Wall live’ album.

‘The Wall’ expanded box set follows on from the already released ‘Dark Side Of The Moon’ and ‘Wish You Were Here’ editions.

‘The Wall’ was recorded in 1979 in France, New York and Los Angeles.

The school choir from “Another Brick In The Wall Part 2’ came from London’s Islington Green School and was recorded at Pink Floyd’s own Britannia Row Studios in London.

EMI will release the new expanded edition of ‘The Wall’ on February 27.

Roger Waters is currently in Australia performing The Wall live.
