Currently on the road in North America to conclude an epic album campaign, touring their critically acclaimed 7th studio album ‘Loud Like Love’, Placebo announce that they will return to the UK and Ireland in February/ March 2015 to play their most extensive run of shows since 2006.
The tour kicks off in Dublin on the 25th February, and ends in London at Hammersmith’s EventIM Apollo on March 24th, taking in cities the band haven’t played for many years.
This extensive UK tour is something the band have been wanting to do for a long time, marking the start of an exciting series of events and releases planned ahead of the bands 20th Anniversary celebrations in 2016, looking back over an incredible catalogue of such songs as Nancy Boy, Pure Morning, Taste In Men, Special K and this fan favourite, The Bitter
Today, Brian Molko has also revealed that he is releasing a retrospective book containing his own selection of lyrics from throughout his 20-year career at the helm of Placebo. Titled ‘Brian Molko ‘ Selected’ the book is available to order from BrianMolko.com on Friday 31st October.
