In honour of the London Olympics (perhaps), the Brits lead a pretty thin week of new releases.

UK rapper Plan B follows up his breathrough soul opus The Defamation Of Strickland Banks with the much gritter iLL Manors. And Britpop icons Blur have their massive box set out today, as well as reissues.

Jason Derulo has a platinum edition of his album Future History, Timomatic has a remix album and Jennifer Lopez delivers a hits selection called Dance Again.

The soundtrack for the Aussie film The Sapphires is out (with a free movie ticket at some outlets) featuring Jessica Mauboy, Jade McCrae, and some classic Motown hits.

Frontman for indie pop darlings Youth Group, Toby Martin, releases his solo debut Love’s Shadow.

There’s a “proper” full length for punk supergroup OFF! Featuring members of Circle Jerks, Red Kross, Burning Brides, and Rocket From The Crypt.

Look out for a Blondie live album, as well as a live Best Of from Etta James, and Neil Sedaka’s The Show Goes On.

A really special release is the DVD/Blu Ray of The Big Easy Express, which captures Mumford & Sons, Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros and Old Crow Medicine Show rambling across the US on a train.
