Police have handcuffed Dr Dre outside his Malibu home after someone was blocking his drive.
TMZ is reporting that Dre returned to his Malibu home to find a car blocking his driveway. After asking the driver to move, they pulled up but started swearing at the billionaire producer.
Dre reached into his pocket and pulled out his cellphone to record the incident but the driver either couldn’t see well or decided to be confrontational and yelled “Here we go again, another black guy with a gun.” He then proceed to call the police on Dre.
Los Angeles County Sheriffs on the scene temporarily handcuffed Dr. Dre and patted him down but found no gun and released him. The driver, though, decided he “knew” what he saw and made a citizens arrest, filling out a report for the officers.
Whether any charges will be filed is now in the hands of the district attorney.
