Melbourne indie record store institution Polyester Records launches a new vinyl label.
Polyester Records have just announced that they’re launching a new label, also called Polyester Records, with will specialise in releasing vinyl LPs of Australian artists.
They’ve put together their first three releases: the self-titled debut from Melbourne edgy Melbourne post-punk act New War, which will be in stores tomorrow; the new album from folk storyteller Grand Salvo titled Slay Me In My Sleep; and the debut album Maidenhair from “multi-dimensional partmaker” Max Crumbs.
The albums will be distributed through Inertia and the second two will come out in the coming weeks.
