Primal Scream and MC5’s 2008 team up at London’s Meltdown Festival finally hits DVD.

Glasgow and Detroit psych rock heroes Primal Scream and MC5 were brought together by Massive Attack curating the 2008 Meltdown Festival in London.
They hit the stage to play separately, and then together, in an orgy of ecstatic rock. Now, their performances finally reach DVD and CD in an extensive boxset.
The Black To Comm – Live At The Royal Festival Hall London Meltdown boxset contains a DVD of over two hours of live footage across 28 songs (five of which saw both bands on stage together), from five cameras in surround sound.
The boxset also includes the complete show spread across two CDs, as well as a booklet with photos, liner notes, interviews with Primal Scream’s Bobby Gillespie and MC5’s Mike Davis, all wrapped in a triple-gatefold box adorned with a Mike Davis artwork.
It’s a truly one-of-a-kind experience with legends of both the UK and US music scenes teaming up for the first time.
Black To Comm – Live At The Royal Festival Hall London Meltdown is released in Australia on Easy Action through Fuse as a stand-alone DVD, or in full boxset mode described above.
