Prince '1999' is getting a 6 disc expanded make-over

Prince ‘1999’ is getting the box set treatment with a 6 disc including 5 CDs and 1 DVD on the way.

‘1999’ was the album before what would become Prince’s iconic release ‘Purple Rain’. Initially this album wasn’t so big, just reaching no 9 in the USA and only peaking at no 35 in Australia. However, the songs ‘1999’ and ‘Little Red Corvette’ are now classics.

The new edition of ‘1999’ will be released on November 29.
