John Lydon will be bringing Public Image Ltd back to Australia.
John Lydon of Public Image Ltd
Lydon first formed Public Image Ltd in 1978 after the break-up of the Sex Pistols. While the Sex Pistols were Punk, PiL were labelled Post-Punk.
In 1983, that Post-Punk label turned Pop when PiL had a global Top 40 hit with ‘This Is Not A Love Song’.
PiL split in 1993 and in 1996 Lydon put the Sex Pistols back together for a world tour that included Australia
